As most of us are aware, Goddess Durga has 9 incarnations. During the nine days of Navratri, these nine incarnations of Goddess Durga are worshipped. To celebrate these incarnations, each day the idol is dressed in one unique color. Worshippers showcase their love for the Goddess by dressing up in the similar color. This uniqueness of colors has enhanced the fun element of this eventful festival. Each of this color represents a particular quality of the Goddess.

The nine colors that are unique to this festival are – Grey, Orange, White, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple, and Pink.
